POWER Lymphatics FAQs
POWER Lymphatics is a hybrid event. You can attend in-person (all events take place at the Horseshoe Las Vegas) or virtually. We will NOT live-stream any sessions. All attendees will have access to recordings April 21, until June 20. We’ve answered some of your common questions below.
When will sessions take place?
Live sessions begin Saturday, April 12, and conclude Monday, April 14. View the schedule for times, which are all Mountain Standard Time (MST/USA). Use the time zone convertor to determine your local time. NOTHING IS BEING LIVE-STREAMED.
Will speakers offer copies of their presentations before or after the conference?
We ask all speakers if they will allow attendees access to download their presentations. If they agree, we will make these available to download from the POWER app after the conference concludes. Please understand that our speakers often adjust their presentations up to the day they present, and with their busy schedules, they cannot provide in advance. Also, many speakers do not want attendees to have a sneak peek of their content or cannot share because of HIPPA or proprietary research data.
Why do I need to select workshops on the registration form?
In 2025, we are offering four interactive workshops that cover effective MLD, impactful exercise programs, wound care management and how to treat lymphedema in pediatric patients. In-person attendees will select two of these four workshops to participate in live. We will record all four, so all attendees, including virtual participants, will have access to the content from each one. Juzo and Tactile Medical are sponsoring a pre-conference session that is optional. We will not record this session.
How do I attend virtually?
To ensure the most positive viewing experience, we are recording all POWER Lymphatics sessions, which will be available for viewing beginning April 21. We will email all registered attendees (virtual and in-person) detailed instructions for accessing the sessions. This email goes to the one used when registering, so make note of it. Check your spam folder if you do not see the email from POWER Symposium by April 21.
When will I receive information for accessing the recorded sessions?
We will email all registered attendees information for viewing the recorded sessions on or before April 21. If you do not receive an email, check your Junk/Spam folder.
How are the presentations organized in the archives?
Each “session” includes a group of presentations (essentially all that took place before a break at the conference). There is not a session for each presentation.
How do I download copies of presentations via the app?
Click “events” within the app, and if the speaker shared their presentation, you will see a PDF file to download. Open the “event” and scroll down to “Handouts.” Click on that, and a pop-up will ask if you want to download the file, email it or open to take notes. The app doesn’t expire. For issues with the app, email support@core-apps.com (reference the POWER app). The app is only for use of registered attendees.
How long will I have access to view archived presentations?
We will email details for accessing the archived presentations on or before April 21. If you did not receive the email, check your Junk/Spam folder. You can access the archives until June 20. We cannot grant access after this date because the platform license will expire. No refunds will be issued if you try accessing the platform on or after June 20.
What technology do I need to view the recorded sessions?
All you’ll need is internet access. We will host the recorded sessions here on the POWER website. We will email instructions for accessing these on or before April 21. You will need to enter the email you used when registering and the password we provide. That’s it!
What do I do if I have any issues viewing recorded presentations?
The information we send to all registered virtual attendees will include contact information if you experience issues. Note that we can not assist if you experience issues with your internet connectivity.
Will I earn Continue Education (CE) hours for attending?
Yes, live and virtual attendees will earn CE hours. We have applied for approval from various organizations. View our Continuing Education page for more details.
Will virtual attendees earn CE hours?
Yes. Once you watch the recorded version from the POWER Lymphatics Archives, you are eligible to earn CE hours. We will email detailed instructions for the process to receive credit for these hours on or before April 21.
Why is POWER not live-streaming sessions for virtual attendees?
We want to ensure all attendees, virtual and in-person, have the best experience possible. Based on feedback, we decided to record all POWER Lymphatics sessions, edit them with closed captioning and make them available for up to 60 days after the conference for all attendees to view.
How do I book my hotel room at the Westin Downtown Denver?
All details about booking hotel rooms are available here.
Can I ask speakers questions if I attend virtually?
No, since we are not live-streaming, there is not an opportunity to take questions. That said, some speakers elect to share contact information during their presentation. If they do, you’re welcome to contact them directly.
Will speakers present live?
All presentations are planned to be live with Q&A, unless otherwise noted in the schedule.
What is POWER Retail, and should I attend if I’m a CLT?
POWER Retail has content specific for retailers running a business that caters to clients with various wellness needs, including but not limited to lymphedema and breast cancer (learn more). This content is not applicable to the therapist audience, so there would be little benefit to attending. Some speakers present to both tracks, tailoring their content so it’s most relevant to the specific audience.
Can I attend POWER Lymphatics if I am not a certified lymphedema therapist?
The content of POWER Lymphatics is geared to therapists and medical professionals treating patients experiencing chronic wounds or edema caused by lymphedema and/or lipedema. If you are a certified fitter or DME/HME/Mastectomy business owner/manager, you are welcome to attend and may find the content valuable.
