Basic Foundations of Fitting, March 18, 2019
This training class is the perfect place for a new fitter to start their fitting career. Experienced fitters will also benefit from attending. Attendees will walk away with the confidence on how to select and fit a bra and a breast form. This course is ABC and BOC approved and prepares fitters for the ABC and BOC certification exams. ABC and BOC Certified Fitters are eligible to receive CEUs (8 from ABC and 9 from BOC).
Beyond Fitting: Cornerstones to success, March 19, 2019
This class is critically essential for all fitters: new and experienced. This is not an advanced fitting class. This is an advanced information class with a strong emphasis on billing, required documentation, marketing, emerging treatments, and survivorship, all of which are components for a successful business. ABC and BOC Certified Fitters are eligible to receive 9 CEUs.
Juzo Academy and Lipedema Education
Caroline Pinney, Juzo Education and Training Manager
Caroline will lead a discussion centering around lymphedema and lipedema products. Participants will gain a greater understanding of proper garment selection for each of these conditions. We will close with an interactive Q&A session.

The Board of Certification/Accreditation (BOC) will offer its Certified Mastectomy Fitter (CMF) and Certified Orthotic Fitter (COF) exams, each at a $25 savings, to POWER Symposium attendees. To register, create a MyBOC account (click on Apply for Certification) or log in to your existing account. Then click Apply Now, select Mastectomy Fitter and choose the POWER CMF exam or select Orthotic Fitter and choose the POWER COF exam.
